My New Car

World is progressing towards equality. Gradually but steadily, it is moving forward. Today, we see women doing all the stuff that were believed they cannot do. They work and take care of their homes so perfectly. But still there are people who believe that women are not supposed to work. They can’t handle both the things simultaneously. These people don’t understand the concept of feminism and equality. They underestimate the strength of women. These people need to see the new growing world and women’s position in it.

If I talk about equality, women, today, are doing everything that was considered as “the men thing” like they work, they drive and they even drink. This is good. But equality works both ways. If we say that women can do everything men does, we have to give men the freedom to do everything women does. My point is, only girls are allowed to do rituals like vastu puja, kumbh puja, etc., small girls for some puja and women for some puja. But boys are not allowed to do these pujas.

If women can do cremation then men should get to do the pujas. This is how equality works.

So, recently I bought a car. I was so happy and excited. But then the question of who would do the puja of my new car came. All the questions of equality and feminism popped up in my head. I thought and decided that this time I’ll take a step forward towards equality and instead of finding girls, I’ll let my two boys do the puja for my new car. They did the puja and we went on a drive after that.
I believe in real equality and want to clear the meaning of equality and the misconception about it. Equal world, happy world.
