Reunion

After we leave our school/college, the only thing that stays with us is it’s memories. We can relive our school/college life only through memories. It’s heartbreaking that we have to leave our friends from school/college back and move on with our lives. But if something ends on a sad note, there’s always a start of something great. Reunion! It’s so amazing to meet old friends and talk about “those days” and have fun. It gives us the joy of meeting the same friends with some dramatic change in them. It feels like home.

We literally wait for our reunions – to meet everyone and talk about those days. I want to give credit to one of my friends who organize reunions for my batch. She’s put so much effort in organizing the event, coordinating with all the members and other work. It takes a lot of planning and time to do such a thing. And she’s done it with perfection. She organized 3-4 reunions for us and everything was going perfectly fine. But as there’s always someone who has to spoil things, people started getting jealous of her work and her praises. She never wanted any hard feelings so she decided to step back from organizing reunions.

So, one of her lawyer friend stood up and took the responsibility of arranging reunions. But as she was new to this, she asked for help from the friend who used to organize reunions before. She knew how difficult it is to plan such an event so she agreed to help. Reunion happened, people enjoyed, partied and had fun. But people had to talk, as always. They started talking that the friend that helped with organizing this reunion is because she doesn’t want to leave her authority (Satta). That she still wants praise from them and other stuff.

I wonder sometimes that how people think that way. Why can’t they just see what’s good and how much effort others are putting. I think it’s their hobby to find a loophole in every good thing. Why can’t there be a place where everyone appreciates good and let go of some minor loopholes?
