Even if we rummage into the roots of History ,India's benefaction in medicinal science has been off paramount importance. Attributing the legendary Acharya Charak ,the first ever physician and Acharya Sushrut renowned as "The Father Of Surgery" rendered their medicinal services in India fortunately enough.
Despite this, it is our misfortune how imprudently and unheedingly ,we let the dilapidation of our very own Healthcare system in an impotent manner. The Covid19 pandemic has not only broached a set of obstacles and challenges but also has accentuated the acute exigency of refurbishing the pedestal of the entire Healthcare system of India. The stunted Doctor to population ratio is of cardinal concern.There's drastic dearth of Healthcare professionals in India.Alongwith this, there's an acute scarcity of medical & research institutes as well . Adding to the agony,the rural denizens are typically spurned & neglected. In India, unfortunately healthcare services're quite exorbitant ;  and there's derisory emphasis upon auxiliary systems of medcine such as Ayurveda,Unani,Homeopathy etc.
Quite unfortunately,there were incidents where Doctors were assaulted and attacked.The paucity of diagnostic paraphernalias the anti pathetic grudges of not serving into rural areas,the ill-equipped hospitals in public Healthcare services,considering medicine as a lucrative business all these factors have been acting as a fly in the ointment.
It's quite apparent that only a healthy nation can grow.There seems to be a long battle with this pandemic further.We need to emphasize upon adequate Healthcare infrastructure,invest in cutting edge"Made In India"healthcare technologies so that our Healthcare system can be the flagbearer of confronting the Covid19 pandemic towards a robust,invigorating and flourishing nation ahead.
