Healthful benefits of Fenugreek vegetable

 

      The binomial nomenclature of Fenugreek vegetable is Trigonella foenum- graecum. Green leafy vegetables contain all important nutritional components which help to grow and develop our body. They are also important for our better health. Fenugreek vegetable and Bhakari is the special favourite dish of our Maharashtrian people. Fenugreek vegetable has also medicinal importance which provides good benefit in our health.

      Leaves of Fenugreek contain Iron(Fe), Calcium (Ca), Phosphorus (F), proteins and Vitamin- K(Ferredoxin) in maximum proportion. The leaves of Fenugreek vegetable are not only delicious but also reduce the danger of disorders.

      Seeds of Fenugreek control sugar in blood. If diabetic patients include leaves of Fenugreek in the diet, they will get good benefit.

      If diabetic patients include leaves as well as seeds of Fenugreek in the diet,they will get more benefit because it contains Galactomannan- the natural soluble fibre component which absorbs sugar from blood.

      Fenugreek reduces problems of hairs. If you apply paste of Fenugreek to the hairs or eat it,then it will make your hairs more black and shiny. Juice of leaves of Fenugreek can be applied to hairs before half an hour of bath in the morning. It will reduce our dandruff definitely.

      Soak leaves of Fenugreek under water and make the paste of it and apply it on the skin for clean and softness. Leaves of Fenugreek contain the sticky nutritional component which protects the skin from dryness. It's paste can even be applied on the face to remove black spots. Leaves of Fenugreek also reduce the swelling of a face.

      Decoction of leaves of Fenugreek if given to small children in the form of a tablespoon reduce parasites in their stomachs. There should be use of a tablespoon of wet seeds of Fenugreek in the daily diet for burning sensation in the chest. For this you can soak seeds of Fenugreek under water for a fortnight. Then you can use these for your cooking purpose.

      If you suffer from Stomatitis (mouth ulcer) and throat infection,then you can do gargling of such water where leaves of Fenugreek are soaked. Then you can get relief definitely. Eat wet seeds of Fenugreek in the morning as an empty stomach which will clean up your stomach.
