Waves of emotions
Outpower our mind,
As we forget our true nature of
Being humble and kind,
After lashing out like ferocious ocean waves,
It becomes impossible to rewind,
We can only look back
As we learn our lessons from the past
Which we have left behind,
We should learn from our past
As we promise ourselves to never repeat the
mistakes of similar kind,
We can only change our future
If we have the tranquility of a balanced mind.
