Trapped in a case for several years

Trapped in a case for several years,
Bound by the chains of doubt and fears.
Each day a battle, each night a fight,
Chasing justice, yet out of sight.

The clock ticks on, but time stands still,
Hope fades slowly, yet hearts don’t chill.
Lost in the maze of law’s cruel game,
Seeking the truth, but it’s never the same.

Innocence whispers, but no one hears,
A soul trapped deep in a web of tears.
Years slip away, but the heart stays strong,
For justice, for truth, to right the wrong.

Though the case may drag on, slow as the tide,
Resilience remains, no place to hide.
One day the truth will break through the night,
And the trapped soul will finally see light.
