G K Nath's first full album ( Album name "Wave"- 2024)of English songs exploring the different stages of life based on love, society and grief.
Currently, GK Nath is known as a popular face in Calcutta and India after overcoming many obstacles in life. . In the past, many popular TV channels (zee 24 ghanta, ETV Bharat, News 18, TV9, ABP Anand etc.) have published news about him along with interviews. Apart from this, some of his stories have been published in several leading newspapers (Statesman, Times of India, Telegraph etc.). He has done several works with "State Human Rights" under the supervision of popular actress Payal Mithai, State General Secretary of "Human Rights".
G K Nath was earlier a teacher in an NGO school called "Light House". This school was located at M G Road, Kolkata. Presently G K Nath is a teacher and official staff of “Niharika Handicapped School” provided by Rotary Club of Central Kolkata.This school is located in New Garia, Kolkata.
He has two bands of his own. The first is a poetry band (Apostle) and the second is a rock band (Black Hole).
The Apostle Poetry Band is a Poetry band in Garia, Kolkata. The band was founded in late 2018. The band mainly works with poetry in 14 languages from around the world. The band performed at 14 venues in Kolkata before the 2020 pandemic 'Corona Virus' hit. Most of the poems are written by poet, model, documentary filmmaker, translator and social activist G K Nath. Although this poem was originally his idea in making the band, the man without whose help the band would not have been complete is Deep Kumar Halder (Bittu). G K Nath recites poetry and Deep Kumar Halda plays the instrument (guitar) in this poetry band.
G K Nath is the founder of the rock band named "Black Hole a Long Way Together". Among the members of this band were: Drums player Bishwanath Prasad, Key board player Deep Dey and Bass guitar player Moinak Pal. This band is located in Garia, Kolkata.
His first documentary film "Hemanteer Chuti" was screened at IC3 and won the award for Best Debut Director (jointly with Deep Kumar Halder). Besides, he was recently honored as the best poet in the Prathom Kanna.com event organized by Abhijeet at ICCR.G K Nath was honored as a poet, singer, and filmmaker by the 8th IBIFF INDIA in memory of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar.G K Nath is a youth fashion icon who has been recognized by Google.
